Jatt and Juliet


After the success of Jihney Mera Dil Luteya, Neeru Bajwa and Diljit Dosanjh are once again ready to hit the huge screens. Both Neeru Bajwa and Diljit Dosanjh will be seen together in their upcoming Punjabi movie entitled Jatt and Juliet. Jatt and Juliet is a Speed Records venture.

The film falls under the direction of Anurag Singh, the director of Yaar Anmulle. Dheeraj Rattan will be entertaining with his dialogues this time as well. Darshan Pal Singh Grewal and Gunbir Singh Sidhu are the producers of Jatt and Juliet.

The shooting for the film has already started. Most of the film will be shot in Canada. It is expected to get released in the mid of the year 2012.

Diljit Dosanjh debuted with his album Ishq Da Uda Ada. It was released by T-Series. He has come out with 6 albums so far.His most successful album, The Next Level is also his most recent.

Diljit made his acting debut in the Punjabi action flick, The Lion of Punjab which opened to negative reviews from critics, though managed to end up successful at the box office. In 2011, he starred in the critically acclaimed Jihne Mera Dil Luteya which turned out to be a critical and commercial blockbuster hit. Critics also praised Diljit's comic performance in the film. In 2012, he begins the year with Hindi romance film Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, in which he appears in a guest appearance through the song "Pee Pa Pee Pa" which is also sung by Diljit himself. The film is expected to hit theatres on 24 February 2012. His first official release of 2012 is announced to be love story Jatt and Juliet opposite Neeru Bajwa.[2] Jatt and Juliet is currently under-production, and will be released on 22 June 2012.

Honey Singh (born 15 March 1984) also known as Yo! Yo! Honey Singh[1] is a Punjabi rapper and music producer. He started as a session and recording artist early in his career, and became a Bhangra producer.
While in the UK, he studied music at the prestigious School of Trinity.[citation needed] Singh has received the ETC award for the Best sound in 2006 for Glassi and the PTC award for the Best Folk Pop Award 2009 for Rebirth and PTC PUNJABI Best Music Director 2011.

Jimmy Shergill


Jasjit Singh Gill (born 3 December 1970), popularly known as Jimmy Shergill (Punjabi: ਜਿੰਮੀ ਸ਼ੇਰਗਿਲ), is an Indian Hindi and Punjabi film actor.

Early life--
Shergill was born in a Jatt Sikh family in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.[citation needed] He later moved to Punjab the place of his ancestors where he studied in Yadavindra Public School, Patiala and Bikram College Patiala.[citation needed] He learnt acting from Sri Harpaul Singh[who?], and then moved to Mumbai.

Film career--
Shergill started his career with Maachis, a film directed by Gulzar and based on terrorism in North India. The film was critically acclaimed and did reasonably well at the box office.[citation needed] Jimmy has since worked in many films, but only few have been successful. He starred in My Name is Khan alongside Shahrukh Khan and Kajol.
Shergill has performed a variety of roles in films such as Munna Bhai MBBS, Lage Raho Munnabhai, Delhi Heights and A Wednesday. He has been a critically acclaimed[by whom?] performer ever since his entry into Bollywood. His role in Mohabbatein was well appreciated.[citation needed] He went on to act in Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai and Tanu Weds Manu.

Miss Pooja


Miss Pooja (Punjabi: ਮਿਸ ਪੂਜਾ (Gurmukhi), مِس پُوجا (Shahmukhi), मिस पूजा (Devanagari)) is an Indian singer. She was born on 4 December 1980 as Gurinder Kaur Kainth. Before she embarked on her professional singing career, she received a Master's degree in music and worked as a music teacher in Patel Public School in Rajpura, India. She chose Miss Pooja as her professional name because "Pooja" was her childhood nickname.
She is widely regarded as having revived Punjabi duet songs. During the late 1980s to the early 21st century, Punjabi duet songs were often given second place by DJs. However, Miss Pooja's duets often get played at the top of the party. She has become the largest-selling female bhangra artist in India and overseas. A partial reason for her success is the rapid increase in the number of songs that she continues to record. She has released duets with more than 70 different male singers.

Kaler Kanth



Kaler Kanth is a Punjabi singer, who is famous for singing sad songs. He belongs to Nakodar, Jalandhar district. His hit songs include Hun Teri Nigah Badal Gai, Dass Asi Kehra Tere Bina Mar Challea, Udikan, and Teri Yaad Sajna.

His original name being Harvinder Kaler, he changed his name after being advice by his spiritual Guru Baba Murad Shah to place the Kanth (voice) before all. He recorded his first album Hun teri nigah badal gayi with the help of famous lyricist Madan Jalandhari, who was really impressed by his voice.[1]

He would soon be singing for the Punjabi film Chhevan Dariya.
