Jatt and Juliet


After the success of Jihney Mera Dil Luteya, Neeru Bajwa and Diljit Dosanjh are once again ready to hit the huge screens. Both Neeru Bajwa and Diljit Dosanjh will be seen together in their upcoming Punjabi movie entitled Jatt and Juliet. Jatt and Juliet is a Speed Records venture.

The film falls under the direction of Anurag Singh, the director of Yaar Anmulle. Dheeraj Rattan will be entertaining with his dialogues this time as well. Darshan Pal Singh Grewal and Gunbir Singh Sidhu are the producers of Jatt and Juliet.

The shooting for the film has already started. Most of the film will be shot in Canada. It is expected to get released in the mid of the year 2012.

In 2012, he begins the year with Hindi romance film Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya, in which he appears in a guest appearance through the song "Pee Pa Pee Pa" which is also sung by Diljit himself. Jasjit Singh Gill (born 3 December 1970), popularly known as Jimmy Shergill (Punjabi: ਜਿੰਮੀ ਸ਼ੇਰਗਿਲ), is an Indian Hindi and Punjabi film actor.

Early life--
Shergill was born in a Jatt Sikh family in Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.[citation needed] He later moved to Punjab the place of his ancestors where he studied in Yadavindra Public School, Patiala and Bikram College Patiala.[citation needed] He learnt acting from Sri Harpaul Singh[who?], and then moved to Mumbai.

Film career--
Shergill started his career with Maachis, a film directed by Gulzar and based on terrorism in North India. The film was critically acclaimed and did reasonably well at the box office.[citation needed] Jimmy has since worked in many films, but only few have been successful. He starred in My Name is Khan alongside Shahrukh Khan and Kajol.
Shergill has performed a variety of roles in films such as Munna Bhai MBBS, Lage Raho Munnabhai, Delhi Heights and A Wednesday. He has been a critically acclaimed[by whom?] performer ever since his entry into Bollywood. Miss Pooja (Punjabi: ਮਿਸ ਪੂਜਾ (Gurmukhi), مِس پُوجا (Shahmukhi), मिस पूजा (Devanagari)) is an Indian singer. She was born on 4 December 1980 as Gurinder Kaur Kainth. Before she embarked on her professional singing career, she received a Master's degree in music and worked as a music teacher in Patel Public School in Rajpura, India. She chose Miss Pooja as her professional name because "Pooja" was her childhood nickname.
She is widely regarded as having revived Punjabi duet songs. During the late 1980s to the early 21st century, Punjabi duet songs were often given second place by DJs. Kaler Kanth is a Punjabi singer, who is famous for singing sad songs. He belongs to Nakodar, Jalandhar district. His hit songs include Hun Teri Nigah Badal Gai, Dass Asi Kehra Tere Bina Mar Challea, Udikan, and Teri Yaad Sajna.

His original name being Harvinder Kaler, he changed his name after being advice by his spiritual Guru Baba Murad Shah to place the Kanth (voice) before all. Babbu Maan (Punjabi: ਬੱਬੂ ਮਾਨ) (born Tejinder Singh Maan on March 29) is a punjabi singer- songwriter, actor, and producer. Born in the village of Khant Maanpur in the Fatehgarh Sahib district of Punjab, India Babbu Maan has been very fond of playing music since his childhood, singing on stage for the first time during a school function in his village school at the age of seven. He would see everything through the eyes of a musician, even turning cooking pans into musical instruments as he created rhythmic sounds. He learned how to write lyrics, while at school (Panjab University, Chandigarh) when he was about 16. After college, he started singing and composing music. Babbu Maan debuted in 1998 with his album Sajjan Rumal De Giya. Unhappy with the album he went back to the drawing board and re-wrote many of the songs, many of which were re-released in his following albums. Tu Meri Miss India, his second album was released in 1999 was a smash hit.
His third album Saaun Di Jhadi released in 2001 was a highly successful album; It sold over ten million copies in India alone and many more overseas. In 2003 Maan was selected as actor and Music Director for the movie Hawayein in which he worked alongside his favourite singer, Sukhwinder Singh. The movie was highly successful. It was followed by his album, Ohi Chann Ohi Rataan. This album also fared well, in both critical acclaim and sales. Pyass was he's next album.
In 2006 Maan started on his first playback movie called Rabb Ne Banayien Jodeian, with its songs scoring another success for Maan. Mera Gham was a highly successful Hindi album. It focused more on slow romantic and sad songs with a few up-beat songs. The song "Ek Raat/One Night Stand" shocked many listeners, but nevertheless, the song has a very catchy beat.
Maan starred in a New Year's special called Aao Saare Nachiye which was also highly successful. Part 1 was released in 2008 and Part 2 in 2009. Maan's Film Hashar... A love Story, was the biggest film success yet in his career; the songs were also a hit. Recently Babbu released a religious album,Singh Better Than King. A song from this album "Ik Baba Nanak Si" was banned by the government. This was followed by a tv survey in which 80% of people supported Babbu Maan, 6% people supported the censorship of the song and 14% people did not participate. Nevertheless, it was successful album and it sold more than 25 million copies in (INDIA). On March 25 2010, Maan came out with his new Film Ekam - Son of Soil. The film faired well at the box office.

Harbhajan Maan


Harbhajan Mann (Punjabi: ਹਰਭਜਨ ਮਾਨ) is a Punjabi singer and actor.[1] Although not known much for his singing he soon became a Punjabi all rounder star in the entertainment industry. He got spotlight in Punjabi music industry with his astonishing performance and miraculous voice in "Husn Jawani". When he became "Inder" in "Jee Aayan Nu" in 2002 and his success in "Asa Nu Mann Watna Da" stamped him with a label of star in the Punjabi movie world, and his recent movies like Heer ranjha and Jag Jeondeyan De Mele are one of the few blockbusters of Punjabi cinema. Harbhajan Mann began singing as an amateur in 1980 and performed in local shows for the South Asian community while attending high school in Canada. His aspirations to sing professionally were sparked when he studied music from his first guru, Karnail Singh.[citation needed]

Gurdas Maan (Punjabi: ਗੁਰਦਾਸ ਮਾਨ) is an Punjabi singer, songwriter, choreographer, and actor. He is considered one of the most notable figures in the world of Punjabi music. He was born in Giddarbaha village of Indian Punjab and gained national attention in 1980 with the song "Dil Da Mamla Hai." Early life

Maan was formally educated in D.A.V College Malout Punjab.[citation needed] After completing his education there, his parents enrolled him in a further education institute in Patiala.[citation needed] As a keen sports enthusiast Maan was fascinated by the National Institute of Sports in the city; this prompted him to join the N.I.S. and gain a Masters degree in physical education.[citation needed]
He took part in youth festivals organized by universities and won several awards for his singing and acting, always supported by his friends. He competed in many athletic events and won medals including a bronze at the National Championship as well as achieving a black belt in judo.
